Clean Flux metadata

Flux models (from Black Forest Labs) are widely used inside ComfyUI, and a critical detail shows up there: ComfyUI stores, inside the PNG text chunks, nothing less than the prompt and the full workflow (the node graph as JSON). Your image can carry the entire “recipe” of how it was made.

Remove IA Label removes those text chunks, plus EXIF and XMP, without recompressing the PNG or altering a pixel.

JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, HEIC · up to 5 photos · 100 MB · no GIF · pixels untouched. iCloud or cloud? Download the full original; files under 4 KB are usually a proxy.

Flux’s trail depends on how you use it

Because behavior depends on the environment, the checker shows what your particular file contains before you clean it.

How to clean it

1. Upload the image to the checker to see the text chunks (prompt/workflow) and the other metadata. 2. Remove the PNG text chunks and apply /exif / /xmp as needed. 3. Download the file. It is not recompressed: identical pixels (verifiable by hash).

Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF and HEIC.

What cannot be removed

If your Flux or ComfyUI pipeline inserted an invisible pixel-level watermark, that is not removed: it is not metadata, it is part of the pixels. What we do remove is the prompt, the embedded workflow, EXIF and XMP, which is what usually gives away the origin and the process. Cleaning metadata reduces the file’s trail; it does not make it undetectable.

Privacy

The image is uploaded to our server, processed and deleted after 5 minutes. It is not used for training, we add no watermark, no account is required and the service is free.

Frequently asked questions

Does my ComfyUI PNG contain the workflow?

Usually yes: ComfyUI stores the node graph and the prompt in the PNG text chunks. The checker shows it and cleaning removes it.

Why not just convert the PNG to JPEG?

Converting would delete the chunks, but it recompresses and loses quality. Our tool removes the workflow and the prompt without recompressing, keeping the pixels.

Is any pixel-level watermark removed?

No. We only work on metadata and text chunks. Any invisible mark in the pixels stays intact.
